Services

At Walks With a Good Heart, LLC, I provide culturally grounded services that support tribal nations, nonprofits, and organizations in building pathways to Indigenous self-determination, policy integrity, and community-centered healing. My work is guided by Indigenous knowledge, relational leadership, and a commitment to walking in good relation.

Strategic Indigenous Policy Advising

Project Example:

  • U.S. DOJ Task Force on Violence Against AI/AN Women (2024–Present): Serving as a national-level policy advisor shaping federal strategies to address violence against Indigenous women, grounded in survivor-centered and culturally informed approaches.

Providing strategic Indigenous policy consulting that centers sovereignty, cultural safety, and tribal self-governance. I support tribal nations and organizations in reviewing, developing, and realigning policies, ordinances, and governance structures that uphold the inherent rights of Indigenous peoples.

Project Example:

  • Consulate General of France, Chicago (2022–Present): Cultural Ambassador and Educator, developing public programs to highlight Indigenous history and contributions on an international stage.

Facilitation of culturally rooted programming, community engagements, and leadership trainings that uplift Indigenous histories, cultural teachings, and pathways to community-led growth and restoration.

Cultural Education and Facilitation

Curriculum and Program Development

Project Example:

  • Burpee Museum of Natural History | Of This Place Exhibition (2021–2022): Designed exhibition curriculum and educational programming that integrated Indigenous perspectives and cultural narratives, offering visitors a truth-telling experience about land, history, and community resilience.

Development of educational programs and culturally relevant curricula that support Indigenous self-determination, truth-telling, and cultural restoration.

Keynote Speaking and Community-Based Workshops

Project Example:

  • Women’s Empowerment Summit (2023): Delivered a keynote alongside U.S. Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland and First Lady Jill Biden, centering Indigenous women’s leadership and resilience.

Delivering powerful keynotes and community-centered workshops that uplift Indigenous knowledge, inspire connection, and empower meaningful change. I create spaces where stories, leadership, and cultural teachings come together to guide communities toward action and transformation.
